Preaching and Spurgeon…
He was called the prince of preachers and for good reason. He pastored the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London for 31 years. He could hold audiences spellbound with his great oratory and style. He was the first to have a “mega church”. A strong Calvinist, he never gave public altar calls but many were saved under his ministry. If you have never read or studied the life of Spurgeon, do yourself and your church a favor…study him and his ministry.
